On September 4, 2021, Million Hearts organized a heartfelt Mid-Autumn Festival initiative to honor 3,000 elderly individuals living alone across Kowloon and the New Territories. Recognizing their past contributions to society, the campaign aimed to bring warmth, care, and festive joy during this season of reunion.
Volunteers delivered lucky bags filled with mooncakes, daily essentials, and epidemic prevention supplies, offering a moment of connection and celebration to those who might otherwise spend the holiday alone.
